Although Danny managed to become a Category 3 hurricane on Friday, he has weakened quite a bit since then, with his maximum sustained winds at only 40 mph, and is expected to continue weakening. Still, there is a tropical storm watch/warning for several places- Leeward Islands, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Danny is still going to travel northwest or west, reach the Leeward Islands early on Monday morning, and bring rainfall when he reaches the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. One other new thing, though, is that two places in the Atlantic are being monitored as well by the National Hurricane Center.
I will continue to update you on tropical storm Danny. See you soon!
